Müzeler bölgesinde olması ve şehir merkezine ulaşım kolaylığı açısından güzel bir otel. Odaları gayet temizdi.

Odaların biraz dar olması dışında sevmediğimiz bir yönü yoktu.

This is at a great Location - right across from Van Gogh museum. You can take tram 2 or 5 then just a few minutes walk. Not too far from Dam square either. The hotel is more like a 1 or 2 star but just renovated completely with large bathroom for Amsterdam. Room is tight if u have lots luggages.

it also has a hostel on the other side so it does have a hostel vibe instead of hotel. When I was there it was not noise at all.

location is queite nice.main museums,shopping and train staition very close.

Staff not ready to help.Allways a lot of people in the hall waiting for something.Its like train staition .room was very very small.very poor sound isolation.

Despite It looks quite new, not everything done yet, I enjoyed my evening, the location , the room quality were very good , and very quiet for sleeping. Breakfast was also " a +" for 5 euros, hotel staff was also kind, I had to leave early, and when I requsted early breakfast at 6:30. the hotel specially prepared breakfast for me , although it offocially starts at 7:30., Thank you !!

It needs a sign or lightbox outside of the hotel

Pictures promised more but found a good ibis/novotel standard of a clean hotel without any extras than a freshly made bed and comfortable bathroom. Exceeded all expectations after checking many hotels of same price range in amsterdam which offered far less than the van gogh hotel.

Pictures did oversell the place although it has been great value for money in comparison to other offers available in amsterdam.

It was within a block of the Van Gogh museum and had excellent access to the rest of the city by tram. The room was small, but this is to be expected in Amsterdam. We did not opt for the breakfast which was expensive for what was offered. There is a wonderful breakfast place on the next block. The room was clean but cold - the heating system was not up to the January weather. The staff did locate a space heater which took the chill off. I would recommend the hotel, especially to those travellers who are not interested in the noise of downtown night life.

It was very close to Trams

The room was the smallest room I have ever stayed in my life. It was around 4-5 square meter including the bed. The bed was very close to window therefore to avoid cold weather comming outsite I covered the window by a blanket. There is no minibar in the room, only on the first floor for common use. Please be carefull if you will pay with credit card not to face double payment problem.

Very close to the hot sport of Amsterdam, yet in a quiet street to have a good night sleep.

Booked.net provided very good price but the staff of the reception started to fight over it between themselves. Should not been acting out infront of us.

Nice room over priced should only be a hostel with private rooms

It was most comfortable and the front desk staff was fabulous. The hotel also rents "beds" for University kids (20 Euros/night) so it was packed with young people - which made it even more interesting. They were fun and cordial and polite. Buffet breakfast was 5 Euros---and worth more. Great shower. It was 80 degrees and the A/C worked well. Good museum location.

Very well situated, room is clean and bathroom is clean.

The wifi doesn't work too well, it's hard to get a connection. The cleaning staff entered in the room before I did the checkout while I was still in, that can be quite surprising. Better lock the door from the inside!

Cheap breakfast, location (very close to many museums), style.

First of all, the room was cold and the heating was not functioning properly. Secondly, the bathroom was even colder with the ice-cold floor. Thirdly, the window could not be fully closed, causing the cold air to flow into the room (which actually caused one of us to catch cold) However, we were provided with the heater on our first demand. Still, I'd advise avoiding room 401. Lastly, staff being not attentive enough (check the change you get from them and make sure you are added to the breakfast list)

receptionist who offered me a ciggy after I asked him where is the nearest store to get pack of ciggies... thanks man
